Karen was born and raised in El Salvador. She had humble beginnings but her childhood was filled with adventures and dreams. Every day, she daydreamed about visiting iconic places in the U.S. Today, having fulfilled those dreams, the self-proclaimed curiosity instigator is thrilled to transform her personal adventures into inviting tales for readers to share across the globe. 

Karen lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, her two sons, and their pet Luna. She is passionate about helping others and believes that real-life experiences are essential to one’s personal growth. To that end, she is always ready to travel and learn about different cultures and ways of life.
